Fumigation is a bigger decision than most pest treatments, which is why All Over Pest Control walks you through prep, timing, and clearance requirements before you commit to a date. If a real estate deadline is driving the schedule, tell us early so we can coordinate the tenting date accordingly.
We carry the specific structural fumigation license Colfax, IA requires, separate from general pest control credentials. Every fumigation job gets a dedicated coordinator, not a rotating point of contact.
We handle tent installation, gas application, required aeration time, and removal — you don't need to coordinate separate contractors. Gas monitoring equipment is calibrated before each job, not assumed accurate from the last one. Gas monitoring equipment is calibrated before each job, not assumed accurate from the last one.
We test clearance levels directly rather than estimating based on aeration time alone, so re-entry is confirmed safe. Crew scheduling across Colfax, IA accounts for weather conditions that can affect aeration timing.
Prep mistakes cause delays, so we give a specific checklist for food, medication, and plants before the tent goes up. Clearance documentation is issued the same day testing confirms safe re-entry levels.
Fumigation isn't a single step — it's a coordinated process, and each part below is handled by our own licensed crew. One point of contact manages your fumigation from scheduling through clearance, so you're never chasing separate crews for updates.
Drywood termites often infest multiple inaccessible areas at once, which is exactly the scenario whole-structure fumigation is built for.
When an infestation has spread through wall voids and framing throughout the building, fumigation reaches what spot treatment can't.
Licensed crew members install the tent, seal it properly, and apply calibrated sulfuryl fluoride gas per label requirements.
Required aeration time varies by structure size and conditions, and we monitor gas levels directly rather than guessing based on the clock.
A walk-through before scheduling identifies what needs bagging, removal, or special handling, including plants, food, and medications.
A documented clearance certificate confirms safe re-entry levels, which some Colfax, IA insurance or real estate transactions require.

Expect a written prep list and firm pricing well before tenting day, so there are no surprises on cost or timeline.
After tenting, gassing, and required aeration, clearance testing confirms safe re-entry before the tent comes down.
